Lalita Ngamkhanong { lalalita } is a designer. A muslim girl that grew up in Bangkok, Thailand.

I hold a M.A. in Public and Private Management and a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations).

I worked as a social science researcher for 4 years and realized I wanted to do something that I loved and gave more energy to wake up every day and follow my passion. I decided to finally make my dream come and to study fashion design. I now hold a Fashion Design

[ Professional Lebel ] Diploma from CIDI Thailand.

I grew up in a house where I usually saw my mom sewing at her machine in the corner. I enjoyed going to the fabric market and always walked besides her. It’s maybe the reason why I have loved hunting for fabric, going around the world finding interesting things and getting inspiration and passion for my designs.

LA FALITA.

Growing up, there was never much option in proper clothes for muslims. That's inspiration and passion for my designs.

I started my brand LA FALITA to offer conservative design options for the muslim women after observing the limitations in the regular fashion industry. Our first design was

an adoptable sleeveless maxi dress and have since expanded to complete

a muslim woman’s wardrobe.

The muslim market offers sometimes challenges, but I always reconnect with my passion and design path at the end.

Nature and Art are my inspiration and have become our signature in design.

The identity of my design is in ISLAMIC
values, they ensure the modesty in trends for religious lifestyles. We pour our hearts and souls in our work :)

"CHARMING OF JAIPUR"

Concept:

Jaipur is full of ancient architecture and flower motif paintings. Shape of Poppy motif is modified and using color gradient. Border arch architecture is used in hemline.

Hand Embroidery.

Machine Embroidery.
